United States Veteran Charity has been started by two friends who have seen a need to help veterans access resources easily. It has been a continuous struggle to find resources for the many different issues that arise after a veteran has served in the US armed forces and as well for their family members. With all of the challenges that a veteran may go thru after serving, finding the right support and contacts to help them should not be difficult.

The two friends Joe Arnold and Ed Finch met when they were members of another veteran organization in the past. Joe Arnold is a 14-year US Army and Kansas Army National Guard veteran and lives in Kansas. Ed Finch is a successful business coach and mentor for entrepreneurs. Ed lives in France and is very active in supporting military veterans in the United States.

Our Mission

Our first mission is to provide easily located online resources for United States military veterans and their families. We are a one stop resource location website with resources that are separated by states and counties to make it easier to locate what they need.

Our second mission is to create a community outreach program called “The Rally Point”, that is ran once a month to bring together veterans and their families in order to build friendships and receive support without having to be a member of any organizations first. Many older veterans and their families have asked us to create something to get the older veterans out of the homes and get them to connect with other veterans.

Our third mission is to create a trifold pamphlet that is packed full of information and contacts for each individual state. It has been brought to our attention that many local hospitals and other organizations that serve veterans, do not have a good list of resources to give to a veteran who may need more support after leaving. There are 50 states, so there will be 50 individual information pamphlets for each state to be given out.

Our Vision

We have a vision and a dream – a world where all of those who swore to serve their country and constitution, have new ways to continue to serve – in their capacity as veterans. Herald a new era, where veterans are not simply just recognized for past deeds, but for their significant contributions to the betterment of society. Our resources and outreach program will make it easier for veterans and their families to find resources they need and build comradery in their community. History will record that this is the point where veterans helped to change the world for the better.

What I Live For

I live for those who love me,
Whose hearts are kind and true,
For heaven that smiles above me,
And waits my spirit, too;
For all the ties that bind me,
For all the tasks assigned me.
And bright hopes left behind me,
And good that I can do.

I live to learn their story
Who’ve suffered for my sake,
To emulate their glory,
And follow in their wake;
Bards, patriots, martyrs, sages,
The noble of all ages,
Whose deeds crown history’s pages,
And Time’s great volume make.

I live to hold communion
With all that is divine,
To feel there is a union
‘Twixt Nature’s heart and mine;
To profit by affliction,
Reap truths from fields of fiction,
And, wiser from conviction,
Fulfil each grand design.

I live to hail that season,
By gifted minds foretold,
When men shall rule by reason,
And not alone by gold;
When man to man united,
And every wrong thing righted,
The whole world shall be lighted
As Eden was of old.

I live for those who love me,
Whose hearts are kind and true,
For heaven that smiles above me,
And waits my spirit too;
For the cause that lacks assistance,
For the wrong that needs resistance,
For the future in the distance,
And the good that I can do.
